The Technology SPCTR� futures contracts are based on the S&P 500 Technology and Telecom Sector Indexes, Technology SPCTR futures track companies in a number of technology-related industries, including Internet software communications equipment, computers and peripherals, and wireless telecom services. The contracts are traded on the GLOBEX electronic trading platform and are suitable for all types of traders to focus their exposure on the technology sector of the market. The capitalization-weighted underlying index contains many components, of which Microsoft, Intel, IBM and CISCO are the largest.
